About the Creator: Author and artist Kris Waldherr was born in West Haverstraw, New York and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is a beloved author, illustrator, and designerwhose work has been exhibited in the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She is the author of numerous tarot books and decks, works of historic fiction, children's books, and inspirational works. Her romantic artwork also graces calendars, journals, magazines, and note cards. She is also the creator of the beloved deck, The Goddess Tarot, which has been in print for 25 years. She lives in a Victorian house with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
